Blue Planet, an international civil society movement begun by the Council of Canadians, has published a report outlining Israeli violations of the human right to water and nonviolent resistance to these violations, recommending the boycott of Israel.
The report is written by local experts and grassroots activists who are a part of the Palestinian LifeSource collective. The authors make a compelling case for boycott, divestment and sanctions as a nonviolent means to pressure Israel to comply with international law and respect Palestinians human right to water and sanitation. This report marks an important landmark in the movement for boycott, divestment and sanctions of Israel.
